Andrew Fagan is Director of the Safeguarding and Child Protection Service.
Andrew is the Designated Person within the Archdiocese of Dublin for the receipt of complaints or concerns in relation to the protection of children.
Andrew is also responsible for the overall coordination and development of the service.
Sinéad McDonnell is the Child Protection Officer, and her role is to assist the Director in the area of case management.
Mr. Joseph McDonagh is the Support Coordinator who provides a support service for complainants and their families. He also facilitates contact with the Director to make a complaint, facilitates access to information, and represents complainant concerns to the diocese.
Fr. Des Doyle is the priest delegate. Fr. Doyle assists the Director in the management of the response to priests accused of child abuse.
Fr. Paddy Boyle is the Child Protection Training and Development Coordinator responsible for the implementation of the parish and diocesan child protection structures.
Ms. Aileen Byrne and Ms. Geraldine Tierney are responsible for the administration of the service.
